How many courts do we get?

You will automatically get the number of courts you need based on the number of people you book for. We charge per person, so the number of courts won’t affect your price. We will of course reserve the right number of courts to match your total number of players. We recommend a maximum of 6 players per court, so there are up to 3 players per team playing with 6 boules.

How much time do we have? On the courts? At the table?

You have 1.5 hours on the courts and 1 hour and 20 minutes at the table, so there is plenty of time for playing, dining, and socializing. If there are no bookings after you at the tables, you are welcome to stay seated. However, if we need the tables for other bookings, we have lounge areas both upstairs and downstairs where you can sit if there is space. Alternatively, we may have other available tables you can use instead.

If you want more time on the courts, the only option is to book double the time and pay double the price for the game.

I want to change my booking. How do I do that?

We’re happy to help you change or adjust your booking by phone or email, so there is no need to cancel your existing booking to make a new one. Just contact us and we’ll sort it out together.

How many people can you accommodate?

At Nørregade, we can host groups of up to 200 people. We have room for 102 players on the courts at the same time, as we have 17 courts.

At Allegade, we have seating for 50 guests and 54 players on the courts simultaneously. Here we have 6 outdoor courts and 2 (which can be converted into 3) indoor courts.

Why do you have fixed start times?

To ensure a well-organized experience, we have fixed start and end times so everything runs smoothly. Therefore, we have set times that cannot be changed. If you arrive late for your booking, we cannot guarantee that you will get the full time at the end. Start times are 45 minutes apart at Nørregade and 1.5 hours apart at Allegade.

I have a voucher. How do I use it?

If you have a voucher, you can make the booking through our website’s online booking system and write in the comments that you have a voucher. This is just a reservation, so you do not pay anything when booking. The price will be adjusted when you arrive and show a valid voucher on the day. Please note that vouchers are only valid Sunday to Wednesday and cannot be exchanged for other products. If the voucher is not valid, full payment for the booking applies.

You can use a maximum of 2 vouchers per booking.

What are your opening hours?

We are open every day of the week. Click for opening hours at Boulebar Nørregade and Boulebar Allegade.

Is there an age limit?

There is no age limit except the 18-year age limit for purchasing alcohol.

Do you offer children’s discounts?

We offer half price on all food and boule for children up to and including 13 years old.
We have a special offer for children at brunch: Children aged 0–5 eat and play for free, and children aged 6–13 pay 110 DKK for food, including pétanque.

Can I bring a dog?

All dogs are welcome at Boulebar.

Can you accommodate vegetarians, vegans, or allergies?

We need to know the number of vegetarians and allergies at least 2–3 days before your visit so we can inform the kitchen and ensure everyone can eat what is served. You can write this in the comments when booking online or get back to us by email or phone. We will then add it to the booking.

Do we play or eat first?

You decide! We adapt to your wishes so the day is exactly how you want it. If you book online, you choose the order yourself. If you contact us with a request to switch, we will see what we can do based on availability.

What is the deadline for changes or cancellations?

The cancellation/change policy depends on what has been booked.

If you are playing with a guide, the following applies:

• 1–7 people: You can change the number of guests and/or cancel the pétanque guide up to 3 days before the visit.
• 8–29 people: Changes/cancellations up to 14 days before.
• 30–59 people: Changes/cancellations up to 4 weeks before.
• 60–130 people or more: Changes/cancellations up to 6 weeks before.
  
  

If you are playing without a guide, the following applies:

You can change the number of guests or cancel according to the rules that apply to the number you have booked for.

1-12 people: Changes or cancellations can be made until 12:00 PM the day before your visit.
13-29 people: 5 days prior to your visit, at the latest, it's possible to change or cancel your booking. 
30+ people: 2 weeks prior to your visit, at the latest, it's possible to change or cancel your booking.

Late cancellations will be charged 100% of the price for the pétanque activity.

If you have pre-ordered food, the following applies:

Pre-ordered food that is not cancelled by 12 PM the day before your visit will be charged 100%.
